Family Visitor Visa UK entitles you to invite your brother, sisters, civil partner, spouse, grandfather, grandmother, grandson, granddaughter, son or daughter’s spouse, stepfather, stepmother, and parents to visit you in the United Kingdom.

Grant of a Family Visitor Visa UK

It is solely your decision whether you wish to apply for 6 months or for multiple entries, should you wish then you can apply for a 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, or 10 years multiple entry visa, however, in one stretch you can only live in for 6 months and then you have to leave the UK.

Condition of your Stay within the UK

a) No recourse to public funds

b) Not allowed to undertake any paid work

c) Not allowed to have free medical treatment, excluding at the time of an emergency.

d) Intend to leave the United Kingdom after the end of your stay

For a visitor visa, you do not need to go through the TB test but you need to enroll in your fingerprints and enroll in biometrics. The visa will be endorsed on your passport.

What I can do as my UK Family Visitor Visa is Refused

If your visa is refused then you may have not been granted the Right of appeal and then the only option left with you is to challenge it by way of Judicial Review. To initiate the Judicial Review proceedings you must first send a pre-action protocol letter (PAP)/Letter before action to the Home Office/UKVI litigation team and provide them 14 days to respond to you. In a Pre-action protocol letter, you must state that if the Home Office/UKVI is not willing to overturn the decision then you will file a Judicial Review application at Upper Tribunal Field House Immigration and Asylum Chamber.
