Eligibility Criteria for a UK Dependency Visa In order to become eligible for a UK dependency visa, it is an essential requirement that an applicant should be sponsored by someone who is a UK citizen and is related to the applicant in the capacity of an aunt, uncle, child or sibling. Candidates must be above the age of 18 and either living alone in their home country or dependent on their relative residing in the UK. Parents and grandparents above the age of 65 and in exceptional circumstances those below the age of 65.
