57.1. Who is eligible for bail
57.1.1. Illegal Entrants and persons served with notice of administrative removal Illegal entrants and persons served with notice of administrative removal are eligible
to seek bail at all stages of the detention process. There is no requirement that they must have an appeal pending. Those detained on arrival pending examination under
paragraph 16 (1) of schedule 2 to the Immigration Act 1971 are not eligible to apply for bail until they have been in the UK for 7 days.
- a) Toapply for Bailyou need to have 2 sureties.
- b) They need to bring their original passport at the time of theBail Hearing.
- c) They further need to bring Original bank statement at the time of theBail Hearing.
- d) Tenancy agreement and Original Property papers required at the time of theBail Hearing.
